WindingRoad.com reports that Nissan might be working on a new sports car to fit in its line-up below the 350Z, inspired by last year’s Urge concept. A mysterious prototype has been spotted around the company’s facilities at the Nürburgring, sporting an altered hull of the 350Z. A close look at the pictures reveals shorter doors and a shorter wheelbase, and a different roofline than the current 350Z.
On the other hand, the mule was spotted testing against a Porsche Cayman, the 350Z natural competitor, which could also mean this is simply a prototype of the Z-car’s next (probably shorter) generation.
